The (N)SSHÖU Cable, a flexible rubber mining cable with heavy-duty characteristics, is manufactured in accordance with the German VDE 0250-812 standard. It is designed specifically for mobile and portable electrical equipment that operates under extreme mechanical stress, such as in underground mining, quarrying, and industrial applications.
It is made with a flexible copper conductor, tinned, premium rubber insulation, and an outer sheath that resists abrasion. The cable also offers excellent resistance to oil, moisture, and UV radiation. As for applications, the cable is used for power supply cables in mining equipment, drilling machines, tunneling machinery, excavators, and mobile conveyors.
Why (N)SSHÖU Cable?
First of all, nsshou mining cable has excellent flexibility. The cable is designed for continuous movement, bending, and dragging without conductor breakage. Second, with outstanding mechanical strength, it’s highly resistant to abrasion, impact, crushing, tearing, and notching. This makes it suitable for severe mining environments. Then the rubber sheath offers excellent resistance to oil, grease, hydraulic fluids, and industrial chemicals. What’s more, it is water-resistant and flame-retardant. (N)SSHÖU cable can operate in wet conditions and is suitable for permanent immersion in water (including salt water and contaminated water) up to approximately 100 m, depending on the cable construction.
